There is a number of really great restaurants in Bray.

Here are some of our recommendations:

The Ocean Bar & Grill is perfect for a relaxed sit-down meal. The cuisine served here is typically Irish. If you book a table by the window, you’ll be rewarded with fabulous views of the promenade.

KOI is a lovely Asian restaurant specialising in both Japanese and Chinese Food. It is very reasonably priced, lovely surroundings, and it is situated just off the main street in the same grounds as the Mermaid Arts Centre.

Galitos is a Portuguese Tapas Restaurant – the food is extremely good and the decor is great too. It’s situated at the start of the main street just after you cross the bridge into town.

Benny’s is a lovely friendly Chinese restaurant situated in the Super Valu shopping centre on the way into the town. A 3-course lunch on a Sunday costs just €12. Benny is a wonderfully friendly host will make you feel at home.

The Old House pizzeria recently opened in place of the much-loved Pizzas and Cream. It is situated off Albert Walk in the laneway to the DART station.

There are a number of other great eateries both in the town and on the seafront – worth a mention are: The Martello Hotel, The Anchor, The Strand Hotel, and Butler & Barry, which are all great venues for nightlife as well as serving good food! And let’s not forget The Harbour Bar‘s famous toastie sandwiches! Platform Pizza and Burger Box are also good options on the seafront.

There is also a vast array of coffee shops in the town. A personal favourite is Cafe Vergnano in the Strand Hotel where we are hosting our festival events on Friday  27th September.

We may update this page from time to time as we go out to sample our local cuisine! 😀
